United in Generosity

Some people are simply the ones who show up. They bring meals when you’re sick, remember your kids’ names, and make every room feel warmer.

She’s one of those people. A real estate agent with Engel & Völkers, a U.S. veteran, a single mother, and a friend who never hesitates to give.

Earlier this year, she had a stroke. And just like that, the person who was always caring for everyone else found herself needing care.

So we showed up for her.

In partnership with Engel & Völkers, and alongside Jennifer Ames, we hosted United in Generosity on March 14 and 15. It was a donation based estate sale with a simple goal: turn generosity into real support during a difficult moment.

Everything in the sale was donated. Every item on the floor, from designer clothing to home pieces to small, meaningful finds, came from people who wanted to help. And every dollar spent went directly to her as she continues to recover and rebuild. The Estate Edit was proud to donate 100% of our fee to the cause.

What happened next was something special.

The community showed up in a big way. They came out to shop, to support, to spread the word, and to be part of something bigger than a typical estate sale weekend. The rooms were full, the energy was high, and there was a shared sense that this mattered.

By the end of it all, we raised over $40,000.

It was an incredible success, but more than that, it was a reminder of why we do what we do. At its best, this work is about more than beautiful homes and well styled sales. It is about people, community, and showing up when it counts.

United in Generosity will remain a true highlight of our run as The Estate Edit.
